About ACFAN

The Arizona Child & Family Advocacy Network was created to support communities seeking to establish and improve advocacy centers and current advocacy programs to better serve abused and neglected children and their families. The network assists communities and centers with:

  • Training
  • Resource development
  • Network services and ideas
  • Coordinated services

Advocacy centers located throughout Arizona are designed to provide on site services to child victims of either physical or sexual abuse as well as neglect. Some centers provide services to adult victims as well, whether it is sexual assault, domestic violence or vulnerable adult abuse.

Referrals to the centers come from community service providers, Child Protective Services, Adult Protective Services and law enforcement personnel.

The Arizona Child & Family Advocacy Network is the Arizona Chapter of the National Children's Alliance.

Mission Statement
